...If you are buying or renting a property now, you are entitled to be provided with an EPC by the seller/landlord or his/her agent for the building in question."

Your landlord should have provided you with an energy performance certificate for your rental property. This has been compulsory since the 2nd January, 2009.

If he or she hasn't done so, then they are breaking the law.
